Kadi Ormazabal is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at Kinder in the Keys, where she provides individual and group therapy to women navigating addiction, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions. She earned her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and brings clinical experience in trauma-focused care to her practice.
Kadi draws from established, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques, to help clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and rebuild self-confidence. She places strong emphasis on the therapeutic alliance, working to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel supported enough to share even their most painful experiences.
