Eating Disorder Treatment for Medically Stable Women
Kinder in the Keys provides eating disorder treatment in Florida for medically stable women who are struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating alongside mental health concerns. Our residential program addresses the emotional, behavioral, and psychological factors that can contribute to disordered eating while providing a structured and supportive environment for recovery.
Because Kinder is a residential mental health treatment center rather than an acute medical eating disorder facility, clients must be medically stable before admission. Women who require hospitalization, acute medical stabilization, or a higher level of specialized medical eating disorder care should receive that care before considering treatment at Kinder.
*Being medically stable with an eating disorder means that the individual’s physical health is stable enough that they do not require immediate hospitalization or acute medical intervention. Medical stability is often determined by healthcare providers.
