Women struggling with PTSD know that the symptoms can be debilitating and make it hard to lead an everyday life. How Our PTSD Treatment Programs Can Help You

Symptoms of PTSD typically manifest within three months after you experience or witness traumatic events, but in some cases, people may repress symptoms for months or years. The severity and duration of symptoms can differ from person to person and may include the following:

  • Avoidance behaviors
  • Narcissistic behavior
  • Negative moods
  • Increased arousal levels
  • Re-experiencing the traumatizing event

Kinder in the Keys provides residential treatment options and necessary medical resources for women with PTSD. Our treatments vary and may include one or more of the following: psychotherapy, medication, or a combination of both. Also, our inpatient mental health facility offers various types of therapy, including group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and more!
