Jessica is committed to creating safe, accepting, compassionate spaces to explore how individuals can make sense of their pain and create narratives to heal.
Her education foundation was a Degree in Social Work from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in the psychosocial development of vulnerable children. Jessica has an extensive background in social work and mental health, including over 25 years experience providing assistance across the life-span. She has had the privilege to work with adoptive and birth parents, families reunifying after abuse, children in residential treatment, individual, marriage and family therapy, and hospice care. Her career has bridged from being present at a child’s first breath, through sitting with a family’s grief as a loved one exhaled their last breath. She utilizes various modalities of treatment including: Cognitive based interventions, DBT, IFS, and strengths based person-centered trauma informed healing. Jessica is passionate about helping patients discover underlying issues that lead to maladaptive coping mechanisms, and creating new stories of self.
Her career has been dedicated to connecting people to new ideas, resources and insights to maximize their potential. A believer in a holistic health, Jessica’s goal is to provide patients opportunities to embrace their authentic selves, offering bespoke interventions and clear paths to wellness.
Our reintegration team keeps clients focused on a successful path once they return home. We firmly believe that follow-up, accountability and aftercare are all pivotal pieces to the recovery process. Our program is designed to guide and lift-up clients once they leave our mental health facility, exemplified through our support coaches who partner with clients on their recovery.
We have an innate understanding of the spectrum of women’s mental health needs and specialize in trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health-related conditions.
