Kinder in the Keys is a healing program committed to providing high-quality care in an environment that fosters renewal, restoration, and healing for adult women who are in recovery from trauma-related disorders that include anxiety and depressive disorders, PTSD, eating disorders, and any co-occurring disorders. The Trauma Resolution Program at Kinder in the Keys focuses on dealing with stressful and traumatic incidents in one’s life. Particular emphasis is on developing the necessary coping skills to deal with these incidents.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nutritionist to join our team. As a Nutritionist, you will be responsible for providing clinical nutrition therapy to residential patients with various trauma related disorders. All food intake will be organic and non-GMO foods. Awareness and knowledge of normal BMI, lipid panels, BMI, and nutitional intake normals is a must. Must be aware of different diets that would include plant based, vegan, meat, Celiac, and Kosher and be able to provide nutritional assessment accordingly.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their nutritional needs
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition care plans
- Provide education to patients on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations
